Ford supports the San Diego Environmental Foundation
(SDEF) for the preservation, protection and enhancement of the
San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve. This is one of San Diego's most precious natural resources and is home
to the Ford Wildlife Habitat Preserve, which was acquired
and is managed with a $1.4 million grant from the Ford Motor Company Fund.
San Diego Coastkeeper helps protect the region's bays,
beaches, watersheds and ocean for the people and wildlife that depend on them. As the sponsor of
Coastkeeper Beach Cleanup Days, Ford is a partner in this important outreach effort to promote education and the
benefits of clean water and a healthy ecosystem. And, as presenting sponsor of a unique
Green Skills for Life program, Ford is helping the San Diego Air
& Space Museum teach our children how to take better care of our planet.

Ford Motor Company stands ready to help in times of need. When devastating wildfires ravaged San Diego County,
Ford donated 10 specially equipped trucks and SUVs to San Diego fire and rescue departments. Ford also sent a
$100,000 contribution to the San Diego Red Cross to
provide residents with food, water and medical supplies. Ford Credit stepped up to offer customers impacted by the
fires the opportunity to delay vehicle payments.

San Diego County Salute to Education enhances educational
opportunities by awarding scholarships to over one hundred area high school students each year. Ford and its dealers
have contributed more than $2.5 million to help local young people continue their educations after high school.
Safety is always important behind the wheel and sharpening the skills of teenage drivers is one way to make driving
safer for all of us. Ford's award-winning
Driving Skills for Life program makes stops in San Diego and elsewhere in California to teach young drivers valuable
techniques and maneuvers to help keep them safe on the road.
Ford dealerships in California and around the nation also offer free
Car Care Clinics to educate young women on basic car maintenance and safety. Change a tire, jump start a battery,
it's all part of Ford's partnership with SafeSmartWomen (S2W).
The new Second Harvest Food Bank for San Diego is up and running.
Ford is donating a new truck to help distribute food to those in need througout the San Diego area.

Meals-on-Wheels of Greater San Diego is dedicated to the independence and
well-being of senior citizens. Thousands of people benefit from the meals delivered to their homes. Ford is a supporter of this
work, which also includes friendly human contact for seniors who often live alone and have few visitors.
Ford Motor Company has dedicated more than $95 million to fight breast cancer in California and across the country during
its 14-yr relationship with Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. The
San Diego County Ford Dealers also are active in a variety of local fundraising efforts. The Ford Warriors in Pink campaign is
raising awareness about breast cancer and helping to save lives. The company recently honored three breast cancer survivors for their
roles in stressing early detection in the Hispanic community.
Ford raises more money nationally for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)
than any other corporate sponsor. Ford supports the San Diego Chapter of JDRF, which holds an annual Walk to Cure Diabetes fundraiser, the
Promise Ball and Recipe for a Cure events.
Ford has contributed millions of dollars to help San Diego's Promise and
other affiliates of America's Promise build "Promise Station"
web sites to educate, enlist and engage partners in building the "character and confidence" of young people.
